Having completed the design of the new Macquarie offices, innovation were asked to design and project manage expansion into an additional floor. Macquarie requested that their new client facing floor have a totally different feel to reflect recent corporate changes. 
Using clean lines and a calming Zen concept, a water-fall feature in dark slate provides a calming backdrop beside a rich wenga wood wall prominently displaying the Macquarie logo.  An imposing back-lit marble reception desk demands center stage radiating a white light in an almost futuristic fashion.  Off-white Barcelona chairs seem to hover on recessed-lit ice blue floor tiles cut out of the marble slab floor tiles, and clever use of spot lights highlight key features to give a crisp pure-white setting.
In sharp contrast, the staff lounge was designed to create a plush, cozy ‘club’ ambiance with heavy velvet drapes and subdued lighting.  Curves, globes and soft lines encourage employees and clients to kick-back and mingle in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
